The Frankfort Bluegrass Festival is an Illinois 501(c)(4) non-profit run entirely by volunteers who love this traditional acoustic music. Our mission is to preserve and promote bluegrass, a true American art form, through performances, workshops, and education in historic downtown Frankfort.
This free, two-day, all-ages event features 15+ national and regional bands on Breidert Green and in Prairie Park, plus a kids tent and activity area, a jam tent, and food and craft vendors. In 2018 the festival won the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) Event of the Year Award, and it took the Event Pacesetter Award in 2016 and 2017.
The festival exists only because of donations and sponsorships. Your support covers competitive pay for the bands, professional sound and engineering, stages and infrastructure, lodging and meals for touring musicians and volunteers, insurance, advertising, and the kids programming. Beyond the music, your contribution brings thousands of visitors to Frankfort and creates real economic impact for local businesses.
Sponsors gain visibility with thousands of attendees from across the Midwest. Depending on level, that can include a booth, your name or logo on stage banners (which appear in band photos and video), a logo and link on the website, and placement on posters throughout the southwest suburbs. Diamond sponsors receive everything offered.
We cannot do this without you. Thank you.
